Hello! Welcome to my listing! Up for sale is my precious Daihatsu Charade. Its a rare car and couldn't find a proper listing for the Daihatsu and it is very similar to the Geo Metro. I have driven this car for a little over 3 years and have never had any problems. I bought it from a mechanic from eBay actually. It has been the best car that I have ever owned. But having another baby here soon has forced me to buy a 4 door car. If I could have had a body shop cut me out some new doors I would have, but they probably would have laughed at me! Anyways this car has gotten me between 45-52 miles per gallon. Depending on how you drive and whether or not you have to start it to let it warm up. It gets the best mpg during the summer months. Maintenance is cheap, the car insurance is cheap, gas is cheap. This wasn't just another car that I bought, this was a long term investment. Ill get to the good and the not that good: The bad: Needs an alignment. At speeds higher than 50mph it shakes. Cheap fix My step dad is a mechanic and checked the tie rods and said they looked good. Back seat is ripped and needs a good sew job. Easy fix Passengers seat is slightly ripped Drivers side door has an impression in the arm rest. Passengers windshield wiper needs fixed. Windshield fluid doesn't spray possibly the pump needs replaced cheap fix Will need tires by the end of the year depending on how much you drive the car. Decent used tires will only cost $35 a piece Muffler has some cancer on it. Doesn't hurt anything actually makes the car sound meaner. Clear coat paint is peeling off. Minor knicks and dings in the body. Sometimes the temperature gauge says the car is hot but you just have to give a flick and it returns to the middle. (Weird I know) Might be a good idea to redo the timing belt. Some clarification on the supsension, since I've gotten some questions regarding it, I have railroad tracks where I live and when I drive over them its a little rough. On the highway and smoother city roads it rides just fine. Just thought I would add this so that when you hit a pot hole or drive over some cattle guards you already know that about this car. I'm listing this car very honestly about everything I can think of. So that when you get the car you won't be disatisfied with your purchase. Stereo doesn't work. It went out about a year ago and hasn't bothered me enough to replace it. Found one on ebay for $30 including new speakers for the doors The Good: Brakes are in good shape. Doesn't Leak any fluids! Doesn't burn oil between changes also This car has started up every time I've ever started it, even in cold weather. Love it 45-52 mpgs sound good to you? Yeah it does to me (crying while typing this because I must sell it) Shifts well. It could use an new clutch I'm not sure when it was changed last Idles well. I installed a new fuel pump a year ago. All locks work, just sprayed the lock lubricant inside and they work awesome now. Windows roll down Hatchback holds itself up, shocks are in good shape I vacuumed the car, shampooed the carpet and the seats! That's about all I can think of right now.
