This car is in the prefect condition to restore, modified or just fix up. She is over 40 years old very rare and has a lot of life in her. This is my 1971 Triumph GT6 MK3 4 speed manual, overdrive, 6 cylinder engine. I have had it for about 10 years and it has been babied. I have only put about 200 miles on it and about 30 miles in the last 6 years. The engine is strong, when I bought it I was told it was rebuilt 30,000 miles before and I believe it. The car has lots of good thing and some bad things. It has been garaged for 10 years. I start it every couple of months and drive it on my street. The engine is strong. No more point changed to a Ignitor electronic points, starts right up. The carbs work ok they probable should be rebuilt. Exhaust system good. The trany is good shape. Third gear need a new syncro and the linkage needs a rebuilt kit which I will include. It has an overdrive which was added by the previous owner. Is not electrically connected so not sure if it works, never got to that. The clutch seem fine. The rear end is ok except it leaks. That's why I stopped working on it and driving it. Did not want to damage it. The rotoflex's were changed when I got it. The front and rear bearings and seals have been replaced. The front brake master cylinder and calipers were rebuilt and the back were replaced. The brakes are still hard and takes a lot of pressure to stop. The body has only surface rust, the drivers floor pan has some surface rust which you can see in the picture. It has some small dings and scratches no major dents. The paint on the body is original except for the hood which was repainted by the prior owner. It needs a little help there. There is some over spray on the passenger door. Bumpers have rust on them. Bullet mirrors are off the car, for storage in the garage All the glass is in great shape. New rubber on the hatch, New locks on door and hatch. The interior is ok. it need some work. The driver seat has a tear in the seat at the seam. the passenger seat is in good shape no major problems. The dash had a cover put on by prior owner. Wood dash is ok It has new tire on Panasport Extra Light weight rims. The rims have a strange marks on the surface. This car is on non-op and should be trailers or shipped to new owner. I have lots of parts some new and some replacement stuff. See pick. New fiberglass trany cover and rubber kit, new black door panels. new oil cooler, electric fan, Used trany from ebay look good, Monza exhaust system, never used but not new an other stuff.
