I don't know? When I bought the car it was never disclosed to me and I never had any reason to suspect any prior problems. I was only aware of it when the title came to me in the mail and I noticed it. The car is very solid shifts smooth, runs strong !!! It has really alot of power!!! Amazing to drive :) I would drive the car anywhere and not worry about anything !!! The car is solid !!! It sounds Great when driving or just sitting at idle !!!
