RARE 1982 Honda CM450A HondaMatic! This is the last series of automatic motorcycles Honda built, other than moped class. I bought this when my daughter was was learning to ride because she was having difficulty with a clutch. Since then she has discovered men and lost interest in motorcycles... This bike has no clutch. It has Neutral, 1st, and 2nd gear. You can leave it in 2nd and still start out without any problems. It hauled my fat butt up to 75 mph with now problems. The Bad: The bike has not been started since last spring. It will need the battery at least charged and maybe replaced, I don't know. (it does have a kick start) The carbs will need dis-assembled and cleaned. The parking brake does not latch on. The green neutral light stays on all the time. (annoying after dark) I put a new set of mirrors on the bike. USED, AS-IS, this bike is not in show condition! It shows signs of being dropped. (before I purchased it) I have not tried to start it since last April, the battery is dead, so I must say it is non-running. This is a fun little bike to ride, but I'm told 8 motorcycles are too many... The Buy it Now price is less than I have in this bike, I just want less bikes... Local Pickup only, I will not ship. Thanks for Looking! On Mar-05-13 at 16:02:13 PST, seller added the following information: Today's Update: After being on a charger all night the HondaMatic STARTED and RAN!!! That is correct, THIS IS A RUNNING MOTORCYCLE!!! I would still say the carbs should be cleaned and I started it a second time not on the charger and it turned over slower but still started. I am guessing the battery is still weak and should be replaced. There is a little rust spot starting inside the fuel tank, and there is an inline fuel filter. I also added more pics. I would say the tires have a few thousand miles in them, but I am less picky about small bike tires than I am about larger touring bike tires... Now that this is a running bike, PLEASE bid it up before I decide to keep it!!!
