i have always thought VFRs with the single sided swinger looked awesome and have always wanted one. long story short im just more of a sport bike guy. this is a great bike and comfy, but a long trip for me is 10-15 miles. the previous owner lowsided the bike and had it repaired quite crappily. over the winter i have replaced the subframe, it had a minor tweak to it. replaced the tail light, replaced the front blinkers and most of the body screws and clips and the windscreen. trying to make it presentable with the thought of keeping it. it was not my intention to sell it when i purchased it. the bike is solid and in great mechanical condition, the plastics are solid, but the paint job is drastically less then steller, but all the tabs and clips are in tact. really a good sanding and a nice paint job could be sprayed down and it would look amazing again. also the front fairing stay must still be a little bit tweaked, the right clip-on (front break reservoir ) contacts the inner plastic cover at just about full lock. not noticeable while riding. the clutch cover was repainted and looks amazing but there is still a slight dent to the fins. this bike is basically bone stock. the rear tail light is a LED unit because the stock one was held on with zip ties when i got the bike, and all of the clips were broken off so it needed replaced. when it was replaced a corrected blinker relay was also installed so the blinkers all blink correctly with out needing those huge resistors that melt plastic. also the front blinkers were replaced with the 2006 style that are the light smoke-clear. it matches the tail light perfectly. from a few feet away this bike is sharp. a stainless short tag bracket with tag light are also installed, keeping the tag light is required in this state. new stock style mirrors were also installed, they are much more functional then the short aftermarket pieces of junk that i got with the bike. also a BRAND NEW ZG double double windscreen with ZERO ride time. I have had this bike like 6 months and have ridden it 2 times. anyway, why am i typing all this instead of just putting the pics up. also, this is the NON-ABS model. also, rear tire is an almost brand new pirelli, front is a fairly well used metzler.
