This is a 1981 not a 1980 Datsun by Nissan 280ZX 2+2. The car is from CA and has very little rust, just on the surface near the wiper cowl and just above the windshield. The 280 starts and runs great it had a full tune-up about a year ago including spark plugs, ignition wires, fuel & air filters. The battery and starter motor is also newer. This vehicle is good working order for a 30+ year old car. The Auction has a very low minium reserve and will be a great find for someone. I also have the car for sale locally and if it sales I may end the autction early. I welcome anyone that wants to come look at the vehicle before they bid and test drive. The Z starts runs and drives but It is not perfect and a few things I have noticed but does not prevent it from being a daily driver. The parking brake when released the light stays on, the master cylinder is full and the brakes release and work fine It never bothered me enough to research any further. The window washer sprayer does not spray I dont drive in winter so I did not notice it until the other day when I took it out and drove around the block. The tires have been on the car since I have had it they all hold air and have good tread but looking at them they show signs of age on the sidewall (dry rot). I forgot to mention last summer I replaced the thermostat and changed the coolant. I also have the rear window shade which goes with the vehicle, I took it off as I dont like the way the look but I still have it. I wanted to make sure the condition is explained to the best I know, it is a older car but a fun car to cruise in, it does get a lot of comments and people always come over to ask me about this car. I am selling it because I don't want to park it outside and need the garage for my new vehicle.
