Beautiful, all original, never molested 1991 Corvette ZR-1. Worlds fastest car in 1991, king of the hill supercar. The car is in amazing shape all around. Wears 100% of it's original Medium Quasar Blue Metallic paint, and it's in almost perfect condition. No accidents or repairs ever. Paint is almost perfect. Car has 43k original miles. I still have the window sticker, and pizza box. Car has never spent a night outside, garaged always. I have extra ZR-1 specific parts that go with the car: radiator, starter, waterpump, and some misc interior trim that the original owner bought new when he bought the car. Black leather interior is excellent, and almost as new. No rips or tears, very very minor wear on the driver's seat bolster. JVC CD player with iPod controls, and adjustable display color, so it can be tuned to the exact color of orange as the rest of the dash lights. Nothing is more tacky than an aftermarket CD player that displays an entirely different color than the rest of the dash. I still have the original Bose head unit for the car, and it goes with it. Car has a new battery, and both fuel pumps were just replaced last month. Yes, the car has 2 fuel pumps from the factory, because it also has 16 fuel injectors. all 16 fuel injectors replaced a few years back with RC injectors. This car is about as pristine as they come. It's unlikely you'll find another in this good of shape, period. PLEASE, do all your ZR-1 homework before you consider this car. It's rare, it's wide, it's fast, and it's complicated. It's also tough as nails, and the LT-5 engine is considered to be almost bullet proof. The LT-5 engine is specific to the 1990-1995 ZR-1 Corvettes. It wasn't used in any other vehicle. There is NOTHING small block Chevy about the engine. 32 valve, 4 overhead cams, 405 HP, 7000 rpm redline. All ZR-1's were equipped with ZF 6 speeds. The engine was designed by Lotus, and manufactured by Mercury Marine to very high tolerances. It doesn't sound like a Chevy engine, it sounds like a Ferrari. Has a "valet key" specific to ZR-1's, which when turned off, will limit the power, and only allow flow to 8 of the fuel injectors. That way no one is out hot-rodding your ZR-1 without your permission. Turn the key back to "full", and it comes back to life. The car is truly impressive. Care must be taken when driving it. 405 hp isn't a ton of power by todays standards, BUT, put your foot in it at 5000 rpm, and it pulls hard enough to break the tires loose on the freeway. This car has never been raced, tampered with, or driven with disregard, and it's condition shows it. The only modification to the car is the exhaust. It has flowmaster mufflers in place of the original resinators. Like I said, it sounds like a Ferrari, not a Corvette. I have a clean, clear, CA title in my name, in hand, with current registration. The A/C is also ice cold, and is still the original R-12 system, and hasn't been converted to R-134A. This is nice, because the R-12 works much better than the new R-134A.
