Vehicle Detail
1971 Ford Torino GT Fastback This is a genuine barn find! It has not been registered for the past 29 years, and stayed out of the elements for all that time. This car is a very solid original. I was told that everything from the engine to the transmission is all numbers matching, and I would be more than happy to look up any numbers for any potential bidder if they tell me where to look. This cool Torino GT has very little rust as seen in the pictures. The engine is a 351 Cleveland with 285 horsepower. It has not been started in almost 30 years, so that pleasure will be up to the next owner. This is an original air conditioning car. All the A/C parts that I received with this car are included, but not on the car. All of the glass is in good shape. This car has dual sport mirrors. The interior is in fairly nice shape with the original factory comfort weave buckets, and the floor shift. With a good cleaning everything can be used as a daily driver. The GT rocker moldings are still in good shape, and the floors, frame, and trunk are all solid. This was a factory laser striped Torino GT as you can see from one of the pictures that shows the end of the original striping inside the door. This is an original hideaway headlight car, but I am missing the headlight doors. The awesome dual scooped hood is still in very good condition. This would also make an incredible candidate for a Torino Cobra replication. This would be a very quick, easy, and fun restoration to put yourself in the drivers seat of a hard to find classic muscle car. The Nada Classic Car price guide that anyone can look up online has the 1971 Torino GT Fastback listed at $21,450 in high condition, $15,562 in average condition, and $8,818 in the lowest condition. This is a classic muscle car that has great investment potential. This car is in far better than the value of the lowest condition. This is an incredible opportunity to win a great car to restore in a quick 5-day "No Reserve" auction. If you feel I have missed anything in this description, or if you would like to find out anything else about this car, please call Freddy at 262/497-1119. On Feb-18-13 at 12:49:40 PST, seller added the following information: The complete hideaway set-up does come with this sale minus the headlight doors. There is also a full set of four GT wheels. This Torino GT simply needs a new owner to bring it back to its former glory.
