Vehicle Detail
The truth is that I've outgrown this car. I bought it in April, 1998 from a friend who had owned it for a short time and for personal reasons, had to sell it. It needed a lot of work and I put a lot of work into it and a lot of performance upgrades. I think I have every receipt for about everything I've bought for it. It is titled and the engine was last turned over a year ago. It has been sitting for approximately 4 years because of a hole in the rear transmission housing. I'm not sure what caused this. I was driving at the time, heard a pop, and lost all the fluid. There is a picture of the hole in this listing. I finally had a garage and was in the process of dropping the transmission when I realized that I just wasn't into doing this anymore. I plan on moving in the next year and would rather have less to move and a little money in my pocket. I have four other vehicles besides this one and three of them need work. The mileage shown in the listing, I'm guessing at. These odometers are only 5 digits, I wrote down the mileage on 8/4/1998. At that time, the odometer read 20050 and I know I haven't turned the odometer. So, I've put about 20,000 miles on it in 13.5 years. The top is shot and I'm including a new one that I bought from Bayless for $225 in 2008. Just never put it on. The battery is dead as expected for an 8 year old battery. The drive shaft is currently disconnected from the transmission and the differential. Including a bunch of manuals... Fiat Shop manual, Haynes, Clymer, Chilton... I will answer any questions I can and I'll help you push it onto a trailer one last time. I'll take additional pictures of whatever you need. There is no reserve. The starting price is worth it in parts alone.
