Vehicle Detail
This ad is for a 2003 Audi A4 Quattro Avant. The car runs and drives reasonably. I have owned the car for roughly the last 10,000 miles. The car starts and runs every time, and it has never let me down. The car averages 27 MPG, and with careful driving can get over 30 MPG. The body of the car is very straight, and the paint has an excellent shine. The interior of the car is in very good condition, and there are no obvious stains. All of the gauges, windows, sunroof, climate control (including the air conditioning) and the exterior lights are in working condition. The brakes are excellent, and are plently adequate to keep up with this car's sporting intentions. In the time that I have owned it, the car has gotten an oil filter and filter change twice (each time with a Mobil 1 synthetic oil), new spark plugs, new air filter, and new ignition "coil packs". Before I purchased the car, the timing belt was replaced. There are some issues with the car, but not anything that can't be fixed. It has an intermittent check engine light. I had the code checked, and it was traced a "cylinder 2 misfire". I believe that this is because of a faulty vacuum check-valve, which is only $7.99 from ECS tuning. The car also has an intermittent Air Bag light, which I haven't had the time to look into in earnest. The car also has some hail damage (which shows on the Carfax history report). The hail damage occured before I owned the car, and is difficult to notice most of the time. The sunroof leaks, which would be by simply replacing the seal. The left-side channel of radio will cut-out from time-to-time. However, most of the time, the radio plays well, and sounds very good. The handling could be improved with a new set of shocks and tires. Please note that this car is 10 years old, and has over 100,000 miles. There are blemishes that would be expected with a car of this age and mileage. Overall though, this car great multi-tasker, being a quick, compact station wagon with excellent handling.
