The TVR 280i is a tube frame chassis, fiberglass bodied sports car making it light and responsive. This car is powered by the original Ford 2.8L V6 engine and Ford 4 speed manual transmission with Jaguar Salisbury differention. The factory fitted Bosch Type K fuel injection system works flawlessly. Since I have owned it, I have performed the following work to keep the car in top condition: Oil changes and lubesReplaced steering column u-joint Replaced faulty headlight motorReplaced various switches, diagnosed misc electrical issues New brake master cylinder and brake job New clutch master cylinder New rear suspension bushings New sway bar bushings New AVO adjustable shocks (ride height and damping rates are independently adjustable) Knowledgeable TVR folks identify this as a Series 1 1/2 US spec vehicle. It has the lower profile front and rear bumpers typical of the series 2 cars, yet retains the smooth rocker moldings of the series 1 US spec vehicles. This car has a full size spare and the factory spare tire toolkit. Parts for these cars are available through numerous suppliers, and the TVR Car Club of America has several regional clubs to participate in I am very particular about my cars, and this car is very clean, but it is not flawless. Being black paint on a handlaid 25 year old fiberglass body, there are some sink marks and paint blemishes. The AC system will engage the clutch, but does not blow cold air. I have bypassed the heater core due to suspected heater core leak. Since I only drive this car on sunny days with the targa top off, and the convertible top down, these climate issues don't bother me. Contact seller for additional pictures. Many more are available
