1991 mustang lx. This is a TEXAS CAR, and it shows. This car has Absolutly no rust anywhere. This car has never seen snow. Stored indoors since brought up to northern Illinois. Grey tweed interior, Original white paint Paint. 12pt. roll cage, custom rocker bars, front strut bars for added front end stability , roll cage triple re-inforced directly to full length 2x4 rectangular through floor sub-frame connectors, 4 corner outriggers, upper/lower torque box's integrated directly to cage and X-BRACE, inboard rear coil over rear susp integrated to roll cage. mini tubbed. Custom caged fuel Cell. Current suspension setup is for drag racing Body: 1991 Ford Mustang LX hatchback. Body originally has around 120k miles on it. This car is perfectly straight. No chassis twist at all. Paint is ORIGINAL OXFORD white. Paint is in good shape with very few scratches and dents. Paint is a very bright white with no yellowing. The hood is fiberglass, 3.5" cowl painted OXFORD white with single stage enamel. Not sure what brand the hood is. All seams on this car are good. Engine: 347ci. Custom through the floor (2"x4") subframe connectors which protrude 10" throught the center of front sub-frame rails. Cage is attatched/welded directly to outriggers which are tied to the rocker box and sub frame channel Rocker bars on both driver and pass side for added stabiltiy. Bars are hidden under carpet via notching through seat brace Lower Torque box's are 1/8" plated, and integrated directly to rear kick bars from main hoop Upper torque box is 1/8" plated and integrated directly to rear X-Brace which is tied to main hoop Both upper and lower torque box's are completely welded and reinforced throughout. Rear Down bars are terminated directly to custom coilover shock mount Coilover shock mount is tied directly to Boxed and Notched rear sub frame for mini tub. Boxed and Notched rear sub frame gives and additional 4.5" of inner tire clearance for what ever size tire you wish to stuff in there. mini tub kit installed Cage built to house, and protect 12gal. fuel cell. This is a fun car to drive. Very streetable. All bars are very inconspicuous. Because of the 5th. gear overdrive, the car gets 12.5mpg. Sounds great with long tube headers, especially with that huge solid roller cam. The car runs 11:40 in the quarter at 125mph. The car could go much faster with a dyno tune.
