Sadly I have decided to sell my BMW motorcycle. I've owned this beautiful machine for over six years, but now being in graduate school at Vanderbilt it's time to hunker down. Pictures wouldn't upload from my iPhone. Please just ask and I'm happy to email them to you.- Glacier green- 61,500 miles, approximately- Rear tire has 1500 or so mostly highway miles- Front tire needs replacement- Heated grips- Adjustable windshield- 1100 cc boxer motor- Telelever suspension in the front (anti-dive) and paralever suspension in the rear- Shaft drive- abs front and rear- spark plugs and K&N air filter installed two years ago- Hull sensor replaced this past summer- Cable juncture box replaced 3 years ago- Front fork seals need replacementImportant note:I was bumped from behind 2 weeks ago. I was at a standstill and the woman hit me popping off the top case and right side case. I held the bike upright during the hit and it never went down. All damage was purely aesthetic and all parts will be replaced with brand new parts; top case, right side case, and rear light assembly for brakes and turn signals. As an update, the bike is repaired and looking beautiful. The picture I'm posting now is pre-accident, but feel free to write me and request more pictures if you're seriously interested. This bike will be on Ebay asap if I don't get any responses this month.Basically, this bike rides and runs beautifully and it breaks my heart to let it go. The time has come for it to be sold. Whoever owns it next will experience year sand years of riding joy. I've ridden this bike 3000 miles in a 12 day stretch up to quebec and the gaspe penninsula (starting in vt) then from vt down to pa and back to vt. It's comfortable and reliable and I'd love to be able to keep it for life, but its just not in the cards.Feel free to write with any questions or requests for pictures.
