Vehicle Detail
I have used this Truck for a Hobey to spend money on now for about 5 years, last 2 years don't much count cause I didn't spend much, I bought the Stainless strafes for the bed and a set of bolts from Totally Stainless too The Truck has all Stainless Bolts throughout, about $1,000 worth, those kits they sell, those are just starter kits, they don't even come close to doing the whole truck, the Motor has all ARP bolts too. The Motor came out of a Steel Nill Delivery truck, because it had run on Propane it's entire life, it looked like Brand new inside, in fact, the propane ran so clean, the inside of that motor took on the golden color of motor oil, I think the cast iron is permanently stained in that color, awesome! I painted the outside in Epoxy and added some MT Valve covers and a few things, it is a Tall deck, short stroke same like a 427 and has a HEI Distributor Factory, the Truck it came out of was a '76 I took Cross-members and all and welded then in there The Transmission was a Clark 5 Speed, it has a Granny low and 4 drive gears that end in a 1:1 Ratio, no overdrive, the Tranny too got all stainless steel bolts. Drivelines Northwest built the custom Drive-lines for it. The brakes are original and stuck from sitting inside my shop there, it needs a master cylinder to have stopping power There is no wiring harness in the truck, an appropriate harness is about $200 all the clutch linkage is hooked up and working The engine is as stated above in beautiful condition, it needs the alternator installed and a cooling fan rigged The Frame and body has been painted in Epoxy, the colors on the cab U can see are waste paint used for a primer, a finish paint should be applied over The Doors have been a problem, the rust is out of them but the work isn't that good, U might just toss them and buy new ones, I can't because I already spent as much as the new ones and many attempts to fix those. There is a 66 Gallon Propane Tank that goes with the truck if U want it, it is all Powercoated and looks beautiful, I have Mounts for it I have a good set of Glass for this truck This is a collection of 5 Trucks I bought for parts, Both front fenders were Excellent, no rust at all If U don't like the Propane U can toss it and a Holly 600 will fit in it's place I will take all forms of Payment with appropriate precautions and consider all trade offers I will be pleased to help the winning bidder arrange shipping and load it on the car transport truck, the last few cars i shipped in or out cost about $1,000 shipping, it doesn't seem to mater much where it is going.
