Up for auction is my 1969 Mach 1. This is a fully optioned "S" code 390 Dearborn car with A/C, power steering, disc brakes, and tinted windows. The car is need of total restoration but is a good foundation for a project car and does roll freely. The front and rear frame rails appear solid but the driver side inner floor frame rail has some rust as does the torque box on the same side The shock towers have the big block reinforcements and are in good shape. The rear quarters can be patched repaired or replaced. There is plenty of solid metal on this car for a 40 year old plus. Someone did try to repair the driverside floor previously but I would redo. I will include 2 full length floor pans with this auction from another project. The front windshield does have a what appears to be BB holes in it but the other glass is in good shape. The car is pretty complete and has most of the interior pieces and fiberglass. It does not have the original motor or transmission but I will include a 390 short block, which will need to be rebuilt, along with extra engine parts and brackets. I believe it has the original 9 inch rear. Included are 2 more GT rims not on the car which will make a complete set. I will include the Marti report so you can see the cars original options within the next couple of days. I do have a clear title in hand for this car. Not included in this auction, is a 4 speed toploader transmission and a Ford FE bellhousing ( with the Z). If the winning bidder is interested, they can be purchased seperately. The winning bidder is responsible for all costs and making all arrangements to either pick-up or ship this car. A $250 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of the auctions end. On Jan-29-13 at 04:06:46 PST, seller added the following information: I had a question regarding rust areas on the car, As I mentioned, both lower rear quarters have rust and the trunk frop off pans do as well. The inner LH frme rail has rust as does the torque box. These can be repaired or patched depending how far you want to go. The bottom the the RH door shell is rust. The lower cowl panel has the typical rust and needs to be repaired or replaced, The battery apron needs to be replaced. Basically, the typical Mustang areas.
