We have up for Auction a very nice 2000 Honda Insight . It only has 136,000 miles on it. With a Lifetime MPG average of 59.6 !!!!!This Insight runs and drives superb, as it should.All maintenance has been done, on or ahead of schedule.( not that there is much on an Insight with this low of mileage) The correct Honda indexed Spark Plugs were replaced at 90k and the EGR passages were cleaned out two weeks ago ( it didn't really need it, but I was doing my other Insight and figured I would do this one too. ). Tires are in good shape with plenty of tread left, The gearbox feels good with smooth shifting. The Battery pack is the original, but functions as it should. All the shocks and springs on the suspension are good. There are only two mentionable flaws in the body. Both of which I am clearly showing in the pictures. The first is an impact puncture in the rear bumper. Possibly the result from the accident that is listed in the history report. The other is a scuff that is above the drivers side wheel well. The Insight's body is made of Plastic and Aluminum. There is no rust on the body. The factory radio leaves a lot to be desired.. and the speakers "pop" when the volume is turned up. $100 at walmart should fix that.. and I can install it within an hour if you want. ( same setup I have in my other insight ) All in all, this is a great car that gets Fantastic gas mileage. It is ready to drive anywhere. We are located in Omaha, and would be happy to pick you up at the Airport so that you can drive it home, OR, for a reasonable fee, and an airplane ticket home, I can drive it to you ( lower 48 only though )Please ask any questions you may have.As always, Happy bidding I have no reason to believe or think that anything is ready to go wrong with the car, but it is 12 years old.
