Up for auction is a nice unmolested 1987 Chevy V10 4x4 1/2 ton pickup first year of the TBI fuel injected 5.7 liter engine. This pickup has just turned 90K miles I believe I am the second owner. The trucks original paint will polish up nicely both of the cab doors have dents and could use some body work and paint the rest of the trucks panels are straight including the bed which shows little use and still has it's factory caulking the tail gate is in excellent condition and closes like new. all windows are in good condition the front and rear bumpers both have dents. This truck has been parked for 2 plus years and has just had lots of work completed including two new head gaskets valve stem seals and valves seats resurfaced new EGR & 02 Sensors installed ,new distributor ,cap ,rotor, ignition module, ignition coil and new plugs, plug wires new battery, air filter fresh oil change, transmission service, Radiator drained fresh antifreeze added and a new thermostat installed . All lights are operational heater works the air could use a recharge cruise control does not function. The oil pressure sensor is new but the gauge still does not function. The windshield washer bottle and pump over flow bottle cap and the factory jack are missing. The original spare tire is intact. The wheels are 16" rims and the tires still have decent tread front right tire side wall has some curb rash. If I were keeping this truck I would install some original 15" rally wheels and tires. The truck runs and drives great there are no leaks inside and the truck is rust free except under the battery tray as per photo I applied some rust- mort on the tray and inner fender and will need to be painted and sealed up The dash has some cracks and one vent louver is out of its frame and is in the glove box. The headliner fabric has separated from the corked backing but can be re-glued or simply removed to reveal the factory painted surface. The truck retains its original carpet and seat upholstery door panels are in good condition the drivers door panel chrome strip is missing but is available online.
