5herewegoagain2 store 1979 Honda PA 50 Moped Hobbit scooter bike motorcycle - for parts or project 1979 Honda PA 50 moped. I bought this at a garage sale in Berkeley eight years ago. The owners had no paperwork but they gave me a signed receipt stating they were selling it to me as is (with no paper work but that they were the owners). I bought it for a project. Sometimes things in life don't pan out the way we expect, as we all know. I put it in the garage and never once tried to start it. The reason is because there are no keys. The moped seems to be in very good condition. You can see in the photos that the speedometer glass is cracked. The taillight bracket is broken and it is missing the belt cover on one side. I am selling the moped as is as I do not know if it runs or not. Ebay motors only gave me 2 options; new or used. Under used it states running etc. This description overrides that. It may or may not run. I simply don't know. As for the choices eBay motors gave me for the title, I had to choose one. I really don't know what "Rebuilt, Rebuildable & Reconstructed" means but it seemed the best choice from the list. I don't have a title but eBay did not give me that choice in so far as I could tell. I will write and sign a bill of sale explaining the situation. If you have a way of looking into it yourself you can ask any questions before bidding and I will give you any information I have. Maybe you can look it up by the vin? Original paint with some minor nicks but it still looks great. Tires still have good tread life. I have never tried to pump the tires up but will upon request.
