1968 Honda Dream 305. This bike starts easily with the electric or kick starter. The headlight works on the low beam only. Speedo works but runs a little fast to me. Mileage is not actual. Speedo light and Neutral light work. Looks to have original seat. Has Suzuki mirrors. Has fender flaps, front fender guard. Has case protectors but they are bent. It looks like the bike tipped over on its right side at one time, but the case savers protected the engine perfectly. The rear tire is a knobby style, the front a regular street tire. The whitewall on the rear tire is scuffed on the sidewalls. The tread is good on both tires. No holes in the exhaust. No rust that I see except for some peppering on the handlebars. Front fender has small dent at the lower bottom. I have the rubber hose that connects the air cleaner element to the carb but it is not installed on the motorcycle. I am trying to tell you ever blemish the bike has. It is no cream puff, but it runs great. I ride it often 20 miles each way to the "Rock Store" on Mulholland in Malibu often. It is always a topic of conversation. I purchased a new battery for it 10 months ago. The engine and transmission do not drip one drop of oil. The clutch and transmission shift well. It has a replacement horn and petcock valve for the gas. I have spent a lot of time thinking of everything not perfect, so I do not want to distract that it is very dependable and a lot of fun. I am taking the time to list all these things because I bought it from a motorcycle store in North Carolina and then shipped it here to Southern California. They neglected to mention all of these things. I wanted a better bike because I just do not have the time to restore it, so I purchased another from Florida and it was everything that person listed and more. So if you are looking for a nice DREAM to ride around for fun this is it. And if you want to restore it, you have the makings to do so.
