Up for saleis a 1950 Chevrolet Advanced Design 3 window Pickup Truck. This would be anexcellent project to be build your own hot rod, rat rod or road course truck.Original odometers reads less than 8,000 miles was a farm truck and cannotensure the accuracy of this. Own a pieceof history with ones of these the values continue to climb on these trucks andthey are just a really cool truck no matter how you build it, Rat Rod orrestored. The truckdoes not have an engine or transmission. There is a mid-70’s 12-bolt truck rearend installed in it. The truck is a 3800 series truck, but all cab and frontsheetmetal is the same as a 3100 half ton.The truck has typical chevrolet rustin the cab corners and floors as seen in photos.Windshield and Back Glass are not with the truck. We had previously installed a 1978 Trans Amfront subframe under the truck to modernize the front suspension, still needs afront crossmember built and installed to secure the radiator support and frontbumper, just didn’t get to that yet but an easy task to complete. Subframe isinstalled correctly and square. Rearwheels not on truck in photos as tires have slow leaks, picture of right rearshows syle of wheel on the rear, will air them up and install at time ofpickup. This truckis a great start for a winter project. I have attempted to describe the vehicleto the best I can with photos. I have a title that came with the vehicle when Ipurchased the truck several years ago. I do not know if the title is good asthe title shows the engine number on the title and not the VIN in Missouri,since the engine is gone I cannot guarantee accuracy of this. The title is fromthe late 1960's and signed by the owner at that time.
