This is a great example of an unmolested, California-built Pony car that has never left the state and has Zero rust issues. Still has the factory 200ci 1v inline 6 and C-4 automatic transmission. Both were rebuilt a few years ago and run seamlessly. This pony is in excellent mechanical shape and I would not hesitate driving it anywhere. Car has been in storage most of its life and I was told by the previous owner the mileage is original to the car although the drive-train was rebuilt about 5 years ago and has less than 20k miles on it since the rebuild. Odometer reads 92k and judging by the car’s condition when I purchased it I believe it’s most likely correct. It was repainted about a year ago and I opted for a nice red color change because I always preferred that color for vintage Mustangs. Car has all original sheet metal and it has never been in an accident. Original quarters, fenders, and doors, everything lines up just as it should. Doors open and close fine with no sagging. Original rust free floor pans, front frame rails, trunk area, and torque boxes. All interior has been completely restored. Everything has been replaced including upholstery, carpet, headliner, dashboard, gauges, glove box, console, and all chrome & misc trim. All exterior chrome trim and weather-stripping was also replaced including front & rear windshield trim, door seals, bumpers, handles, ect.. no pitting chrome on this pony, everything shines nicely. Original glass all around in excellent shape as well. All 4 windows roll up and down fine. I recently went through the drivetrain and replaced a few gaskets and changed all the fluids as well as did a full tune up. When I removed the valve cover everything looked extremely clean. This Mustang runs excellent and gets excellent gas mileage for a classic, about 25 highways and 16 city. Suspension is in excellent shape and car handles great at all speeds. It has new shocks all around with air shocks in rear so you can adjust the ride height to your preference. Newer tires (about 80%) with aftermarket alloy wheels. Car was upgraded with front disc brakes and it stops excellent. New stereo system with 6” kick panel speakers and 6x9”s in rear deck, sounds great! All electrical works well including headlights, tail lights, blinkers, gauges, wipers, ect.. Car even has an alarm with key remote. I’ve got a clean CA title in hand ready to be transferred to the new owner. Ready for the summer!
