Up for sale is a 2006 Mitsubishi Raider Extended Cab Automatic 6cyl 3.7 4X4 A/C finished in Silver exterior/Black Cloth interior with only 75,000 original miles. Power windows, Door locks. Vehicle condition Unfortunately, the truck was a FLOOD victim of Hurricane Sandy and retained water. It was parked on a hill and the water did get into the interior and reached the lower part of the seats but didn’t touch the motor. The title is clear and the incident wasn’t reported to the insurance company. The day after the storm the truck ran and drove for two days, but had electrical issues. The headlights stayed on and the rear tail lights were not working, but the engine and transmission were sound. After that it was parked for two months untouched. I tried to charge the battery today but was unable to get the truck to start. The lights came on but when trying to turn the key you get nothing. I am advertising the truck as not running but believe the motor is good could considering it ran after the storm. Pros The truck only has 75,000 original miles and was serviced at Mitsubishi 8000 miles agoTires have 60 % tread remaining. This is a no reserve auction, Highest bid wins! Great opportunity for a mechanic to repair as retail on the truck is well over $10,000. Cons As previously stated the truck was in a Salt water flood and will need mechanical work and interior cleanup.The Exterior does have some minor bumps 1) Scrape on the front corner of passenger side fender, 2) Small dent on rear driver’s passenger quarter panel otherwise the truck looks great.The truck will need to be towed when picked up as its not running. Terms of Sale This truck is sold in AS-IS condition and there is no warranty or guarantee expressed or implied in any way. I require a $500.00 deposit immediately after the auction ends and the balance within 3 days. You are more than willing to have the Truck looked at prior to the auction ending, but once auction ends there will be no inspections you win it you own it. I will only accept Certified funds only. I will ship the vehicle, but as long as the buyer understands that they must pay all shipping cost and make all necessary arrangements and the vehicle will not be released until all funds have cleared.
