Available for Ebay Auction is this beautifully restored 1973 Honda CR250M Elsinore. Engine s/n: CR250ME-1012420 Frame s/n: CR250M-1012025 This VINTAGE FACTORY restoration has been been beautifully and meticulously restored by America's most credible Honda Elsinore expert, Scott Steger. Nothing had been overlooked when this bike was restored years ago. The list of new parts include a beautiful aftermarket pipe, chain and sprockets, piston, Dunlop 752 tires front and rear, spokes, seat cover, grips, cables, fasteners, paint, etc. Details and photos can bee seen on the Vintage Factory website, click on the "Racers" button and scroll down to the Honda 250 section and you will see, it is the first bike listed. The aftermarket head has been replaced with an original part, and the Dunlop tires were installed by the current owner, other than that, it is today, as it was restored by Vintage Factory. Minor apologies include some very small scratches and a few chips in the paint here and there, all of which can be easily re-touched, the rear shocks have some chips on the finned bodies, the front number plate; although painted correctly is a lower quality part, not as nice as the originals were. On display in a private collection since it's restoration it is as it sits today, I would say it is a solid 8 on a 1-10 scale. Again, that is my personal opinion only, the bike is truely a beautiful examlple of one of the most significant machines in the evolutionary history of American, if not International Motocross Racing.
