The truck was used between New Mexico and Colorado for some sort of natural resource exploration. It's used, definitely a work truck, but it's a very rare LBZ Duramax with the 6 Speed Allison, only produced for late '06 and early '07, check it out on Wiki. The truck looks very presentable and it runs/drives very well. It would've had a utility box on it prior to our ownership, but they've put on a newer body style '08+ bed that looks fine and is in good condition. This is a great workhorse, tow rig or daily driver, not new or perfect, but definitely solid and decent with a very very long life to ride yet. exterior This truck is pretty fair overall. The cab was repainted at some point, has a clean history report, but it was certainly painted. We color sanded it, buffed, and cleaned up a fair amount of overspray when we detailed it. It's nice and glossy now and looks pretty good, most people wouldn't even notice. The wheels look good and tires have nice even tread all the way around. The glass is fine, no cracks in the windshield and the doors open/close fine. The right front headlight was broken, so we replaced that shortly after the photos. The front bumper is just tweaked pretty universally and has several dings. The horns are fine and core support appears original, but the bumper is tired and has been knocked around a bit. As mentioned, the bed is off an 08+ model and the color is the same Summit White. It fits fine, and looks very decent, the sides are a bit higher than the 07 down bed would've fit, but it's not a big deal. The tailgate opens and closes like new, rear bumper is pushed in a hair on the right side and that corner has been repaired under the tail light. The photos show the truck well. It's a good looking work truck, but it is not a show piece, nor is it priced as such. interior The interior is pretty good. It doesn't reek of smoke, has been used for work and not a virgin, but it's tidy. The upholstery is fine, one of the drivers seat bolsters was recovered at some point. The dash, doors, and headliner are decent. It has a few little wear marks here and there, but hasn't been abused. Everything works fine, cold air, functional stereo, etc. It does have tilt and cruise. mechanical This pickup has been through our shop and is work ready. These trucks are super durable, the LBZ is definitely the way to go if you can find one. We changed the oil and filter in this guy, did front brakes, all 8 glow plugs and the fuel filter. The motor runs smooth and isn't rattly, trans fluid looks fine and it shifts great. The undercarriage is dirty, but not puking any fluids, few little crusties. The 4x4 works as it should, the truck tracks well and front end isn't all worn out. It has been used for work, but was in for fleet maintenance regularly.
