For sale is a 1986 k30 1 ton 4x4. This truck is equipped with an SM465 manual granny gearbox, Dana 60 front axle, corp 14 bolt rear axle, 4.56 gears, and a GREAT running small block 350 and the all iron, all gear NP205 transfer case. 4x4 works great--This truck has a 59:1 crawl ratio from the factory! Also has hydraulic clutch...very desirable as the old mechanical linkeage clutch can be a pain. Truck has a Phoenix service bed with locking doors that I have the keys to (very very heavy duty). Everything works as its supposed to. Truck also has working AC and heat. You could not find a more bomb proof truck in 1986.... Or even today. It has current tags until July 2013 and is registered in my name. This truck runs fantastic and i would not hesitate to drive it accros country right now. It has 85% tires all around. Transmission shifts great and does not pop out of gear or grind going into any gears. This is a former US Forest Service truck originally bought right here in California. It has been fleet maintained the majority of its life and the way it runs shows this. It drives great on the highway. I have owned several kingpin Dana 60 trucks and this one by far performs the best at freeway speeds. Its a pleasure to drive--no wandering or death wobble--stays in its lane and tracks very very straight. Brakes are STRONG. Motor and accessories are 100% stock untouched. This is a 9200 gvwr truck so no catylitic converters from the factory. Listed mileage is approximate as odometer is only 5 digits and has probably rolled. Goods: -Corp 14 and Dana 60 with 4.56 gears -SM465/NP205 with hydraulic clutch and good running 350. Rebuilt non-electronic factory quadrajet carb. -85% all terrain style tires. -Working AC and heat. -Rust free with exception of both rear cab corners. Rockers, floors and everything else is great. -Wing windows and all glass is great. Smoothest crank windows in a GM square ive ever operated. -Current tags and title in hand. Bads: -Has small oil leak at driver's side valve cover. -No radio -A bit of rust in both cab corners.
