Selling my custom built 1956 Ford 1/2 ton short bed pick-up. This truck is very nice and very reliable and very fun to drive. Truck will win trophies at car shows and turn every head in town - driving in it or just parked on the street. Less than 12,000 proven, reliable driven miles on the truck. It is turn key ready to go as it sits for sale today. I have owned and built many classic trucks over the past 30 years and this one is as reliable as they get. Turn key and go - First time every time. The truck has a custom full tilt front end with hydraulic shocks that let you tilt the entire front end forward to view the entire motor area at car shows. Also very nice to be able to tilt it out of the way when you're cleaning the motor bay area or working under the hood. This Truck drives and handles outstanding. No steering slop - no steering free play - no lane drift when driving the roadways or Interstate = SEE VIDEO. The front end was kept original 1956 and still has the rare uncut frame and cool straight axle front end under it. The frame was not cut up or clipped off. All front end and steering parts have under 12,000 driven miles on them. Drives better than the day it was sold new! Truck brakes very nice and straight. No lane drift or steering wheel pull when stopping like most of them do.  I have driven the truck from Oregon to Reno Nevada many times and have never had an issue. That's a 12 hour round trip drive. Truck runs 180 deg all day long in hot weather - 50 lb oil pressure - 14 volts charging. The Heater will cook you out of the cab if set on high! All new heater parts, The wipers work like new! All new wiper parts. The blinkers - headlight - brake lights - running lights and so on all work correct. The truck cab front seat was fitted with a pillow soft Lincoln split seat bench seat with arm rest. This seat is nice and comfortable and you will enjoy driving in it on long road trips for sure. Truck also fitted with a Lokar shifter = Shifts nice =SEE VIDEO. Truck has a C4 auto transmission with under 12,000 miles on it. Air shocks on rear to adjust the ride height as needed. The rear bed was also mini tubed to fit the larger tires on rear. Aluminum wheels with knock off spinner caps. Nice dual exhaust = truck sounds awesome. Custom rear roll pan with LED lighting. Full hard cover to cover bed cargo area and keep everything secure and dry. Original cab gas tank removed and a large 18 gal gas cell installed in bed area. Great for the long road trips. The Body on this truck is very straight and had great fit and finish. = SEE PHOTOS . No rust in this truck none! Truck is painted in Marina Blue with White lower section. Paint color sanded and buffed to a wet glass finish = SEE PHOTOS. It was Built to look like a vintage nostalgic Speed Shop looking truck so I had the doors hand painted with ROUTE 66 and SPEED SHOP LOGO. Not a Cheepo decal.  People love the look of this truck and you will get many complements on how cool it looks. You won't see another 56 like it! Truck is Garaged in Medford, Oregon 20 miles over the No. California state line. Truck is titled in my name and Clear / Clean Oregon title will be given to buyer when paid in full. Nice paint -  NO RUST - NO ROT - NO BODY DAMAGE.  Yes, the truck will drive the Interstate. I have driven it out of town many times with out issue. The factory small gas tank in the cab area was removed and a nice large 18 gal. gas tank was installed in the bed area under hard cover.  The bed wood is also solid in bed area no issues. I show a photos of the bottom side of bed in the listing you can see the wood.  Yes the heater - wipers and so on all work - I also covered this in the listing = SEE THE VIDEO. Yes the truck runs and drives nice = SEE THE VIDEO.  The front end of truck that tilts forward is fiberglass - Yes it will stay in place and will not fall when titled forward - I also covered this in the VIDEO.
