Vehicle Detail

1980 Buick LeSabre limited 4dr with ONLY…..33,000 miles! I have a copy of the SC title that showed this car with 14,138 miles in 1997 along with a copy of the original title when new. When I bought the car it only had 18,000 miles from the second owner. The first owner was this mans grandmother. This first thing I did was to go over entire brake system because of the age of the car. I found the master cyl was leaking and both rear wheel cyls were leaking so they were replaced. The rear brakes shoes are like new and say Delco (factory installed) on the edge of the shoes. The front pads were worn about 50 % so I replaced them. I also found a leaking heater core and the a/c comp not turning. So I replaced the heater core, heater hoses and upper radiator hose along with new coolant. I then replaced comp, acum and orfice so it has Ice-cold air now. There are 4 new tires, again because of age. The paint was bad so I had it repainted in PPG base/ clear. The color is slightly lighter than the original I thought it looked better on this car. The color is an 85 Pontiac blue. The car was not in a garage but under a carport, so sun has faded the top of the back seat, which is torn on top, and top of the dash is cracked. The headliner was replaced as it was falling down. The tint in the windshield is faded and has one small stone chip but not sand pitted or cracked, so I left the windshield alone. I have put several thousands miles on it since I bought it and it is a VERY smooth riding car. Nothing has been done to the motor except and oil and filter change, air filter and a fuel filter. I did replace all the belts. It has the Pontiac 301CI (4.9 liter) engine with a 4-barrel carb. It has a turbo 350 trans and 2:41 non-locking rear axle. So fuel mileage is good. I was surprised at the power this car has. I had owned an 81 Buick LeSabre before but it had the Olds 307 CI and it was like driving with an anchor on the car. This engine has good power. The car has a factory stereo radio, tilt wheel, A/C, tinted glass all around, PS, power disc brakes. The bottom of the car looks like new no rust. Trunk is clean. It was delivered to Columbia SC and has been here ever since. It has never been wrecked. This is a solid ready to go car. I would hope a Buick person would buy this car, as they would know how nice these cars are! NADA retail guide was used and keeping in mind very low mileage. Feel free to look, ask questions or make offers that are reasonable. If you have a zero bid history, call first or your bid will be removed. Thanks for looking.
