1981 Mercedes Benz 380SL The color is Orient Red with Palomino leather. Relisted Because of a Non-Paying Bidder. bidders ebay user name: mlawvegas This Mercedes was recently purchased from the second owner who bought it over 28 years ago. Features include a very unique power convertible top, it was probably installed in the early 1980's , the build quality is very high, it could of been a dealer installed item. This is a nice car, the motor runs good and the transmission shifts properly, there are no fluid leaks and no smoke. The engine needs to be tuned, the front lower control arm bushings are worn. The power brake booster needs replacement, the brakes are otherwise in great condition. It was just professionally detailed. This was always a Florida car, the body is very straight and there is no rust. The hardtop is included.
