Vehicle Detail
1968 Camaro – L30 Rare L30 327/275hp, California Car, no rust All Original Matching Numbers born with parts VIN 124378L345743 Up for sale is my completely original 1968 Camaro. Not re-stamped, original GM born-with parts. This car has the rare L30 275hp option. Only 11.2% of all Camaros made in 1968 had the L30 option. The L30 option was essentially a way to bring the car up to SS performance without the insurance costs. See the link to the L30 information below: Link to rare L30 information The car is completely matching numbers with it’s original “born with” engine, transmission, rear end and many other factory assembled parts. It is a California built car and spent all its life in CA before coming to Texas recently. The car has some great options like the L30 engine, factory a/c, walnut steering wheel and center console clock. This car is one of the most original cars I have had. It retains just about every part it left the factory with. The cars runs and drives fantastic. It is very solid without rust issues….most CA cars are. The color Seafrost Green is the original paint color and it is quite rare - you hardly ever see this color at shows or on the street. The interior appears to be original and in superb shape. This car is very straight. The car has previously been restored to a great level of detail but must have started out so original to begin with. Brake lights, headlights, blinkers, interior lights including the dash and gauge lights all work. Even the original radio works. The rally wheels are 14” with 60 series tires, plenty of tread left. The car has full jacking equpment in the trunk with a full size spare. The owners manual and dealer brochure are included with the auction. This is a driver car that you can show and also drive on the street. It runs great, does not miss a beat and best of all it’s a matching numbers original California car. There is no doubt that this car will appreciate in value over the next several years and is better than money sitting in your bank account, since you can enjoy the car while it appreciates (should appreciate faster than the interest from the loan for that matter). This is a great example of a true matching number L30 Camaro. This type of car is worth holding on to due to it’s rarity and being numbers matching.
