I am selling my pristine 65 Bird. New everything; Engine has less than 2k on it, transmission less than 2k, all motor mounts, ext manifold, ignition, hoses, belts, water pump, fuel pump, brakes, tires, new electronic relay for top (no more top headaches), battery etc etc. All work done by master mechanic-no slop. Interior is near perfect, custom auto sound stereo installed with iPod connection, 10Cd. Paint excellent. Convertible Top Excellent. I don't know how it gets much better than this-it could be a new 47 year old car! There is a little chrome pitting-I tried to get that in the pictures. Drivers grab on door is worn-see picture. This Bird is ready for it's next 100K miles. I am selling with great sadness-but life changes and so must we. I did all the work thinking I would have this car forever- --so I had things done properly with proper parts. I have over 60K in this ORIGINAL CALIFORNIA CAR-I realize I will not re-coup my investment-but someone is going to benefit from my big loss. Check out the picture of the top up and trunk--there is little piece of body that was not repainted when the car was- it is really hard to tell in the pictures (and in person), and I didn't notice it for about 3 years--but I just wanted to point that fact out. The rubber on the drivers side door is worn--does not leak but that is the last thing that needs to be done. I have been on ebay a long time, sold several cars so check feedback and bid with confidence. I am an honest seller looking for honest buyer. I have the fenders --they are off as I prefer them off-but they are in excellent condition with rubber. I also will be including all manuals. I had the clock rebuilt and it keeps time-but when the car is shut off it stops--not sure what the issue is. The way you feel when you drive this car--is worth every penny.
