Selling my year long project. I bought this FD about a year and a half ago. It was a engine burn car that I bought at an insurance auction. I rebuild cars on the side and this one should have a Rebuilt TN title, but it doesn't. It was returned to me with a clear TN title. It was originally a SSM "Silver" automatic car. I removed the burnt engine and replaced with one out of a wrecked 95 that I bought with 27,000 miles. I sold the cluster out of it last year here on Ebay, VIN # for parts car is JM1FD3332S0400358. You can have both titles.. While I had the engine out I decided to change to color to Chaste White. I replaced the hood, it was the only body part ruined by the fire, with a J spec hood. Japanese writing on the stickers. I also converted to the 5 speed manual. Changed fluids in the trans and diff while everything was removed. I used NEO. The car drives out very well, only 2 small problems I know of. 1.The doors and hatch are hard to shut unless something else is open, IE a window, the sunroof or another door or the hatch. I guess the car is sealed up tight?? 2. The front passenger tire will rub the fender liner sometimes, the cost of being low. Absolutely no leaks of any kind. A few of the upgrades are PFS intercooler, PFS downpipe/Precat delete, Racing Beat Exhaust, Efini Steering wheel/Abag delete, MazdaSpeed shifter, H+R springs, Tokico shocks, Denso Supra TT fuelpump. Taillights are the round when lit, later model style. 96-98 model rear spoiler. Bridgestone RE750 tires. New JVC stereo, works with the BOSE amps and speakers. All of the vacuum lines are replaced with silicone. Cable is ran for battery relocation to passenger rear bin, I will include the Westco battery I purchased to install there.(Not pictured) I removed the leather seats, sold them here, and replaced with very nice cloth ones....I hate leather. I am also including a glass sunroof panel (Not pictured). I will install for you if needed. Why am I selling??? I've been buying cars that I wanted in the 90's for years now. A 97 TT Supra, 95 TT 300ZX, 93 VR4 even a 91 RX7 conv. I buy them in need of repairs, restore them and by the time I'm done,,,,I want to move on to another project. I have a reserve set, but if it is not met I will consider the winning bid. If I don't sell I guess I'll just keep it, I have a rough life ,,,,LOL $500 deposit due withinh 48 hours of auction end. The car was sealed with Southern Polyurethanes Epoxy sealer, Spies Hecker Chaste White basecoat and 4 coats of Southern Polyurethanes Universal Clear. Look it up, very good stuff. On a small side note, all belts were replaced, front and rear wipers are new. All new Siverstar halogen bulbs for the headlights and fogs.On Dec-15-12 at 12:39:01 PST, seller added the following information:Several requests for a compression test. All readings were above 95 psi, saw some 100's. Tested at approx. 200 rpm. All 3 readings on front and rear rotors read very similar. Hard to see an exact # my guage goes to 300 psi. No small scale. Also have been asked to "Rate" the interior. I would say it is a 9 out 10. The seats are Jspec, so the drivers/passenger over there, is minty. They do have some sun fade thou.
