Just scroll down! 1983 Mercedes 300SD Turbo Diesel Hello there eBayers, here is a vehicle that is rapidly becoming more and more rare and harder to find in decent condition. We are in the business of finding true collectible vehicles and offering them for sale here on eBay. Aside from some cars in my personal collection that we have sold on eBay, every now and again we come across something that we believe you may appreciate. We have sold quite a number of vehicles on eBay, all with positive feedback. (Credentials can be supplied on request and we invite you to view our feedback. Last vehicle was a rare 1991 Mercedes Sportline, sold to a very happy buyer.) Description: This car runs and drives well, has a solid drivetrain, but for specifics please read on: Drivetrain: Engine and transmission are in nice operational shape. No leaks or smoke visible. Engine starts up without trouble and runs and idles very well. Turbo engages and pulls quite nicely. (SEE VIDEO FOR MOTOR RUNNING.) Quite smooth, in fact. A/C is cold, and there does not seem to be any mechanical needs. Unstoppable cars, these are. Odometer says 170k. It rolls over sometimes and other times it stays still. I would fathom a guess that it has recently become this way. We see this quite a bit in these classic Benzes and Volvos and it is typically a small gear that needs to be changed in the cluster. Body: The body is solid and rust free. The paint is excellent still and super shiny. She really looks pretty even from close up. The videos and pictures really say it all. Interior: Interior looks quite nice other than the small rips in the rear seat. Pictures really say it all, but to elaborate, the dashboard is excellent, no cracks. The front seats seem to have been replaced with another 300SD or been redone in OEM Mercedes leather, The carpets are in excellent shape, headliner is perfect and so is rear cargo area and rear dash. Really, if you were to replace or redo the seatbottom in the rear, the interior would be extra gorgeous. I'm sure one can be found on forums, on craigslist or here on eBay! Electronics & Electrics: No problems that I can see at this moment, all switches and controls are working well. Title: Good blue title, ready to be transferred to you!
