2004 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V
Here is a fine example of a sporty, safe and fuel efficent, practical 4 door sedan. A very potent 2.5L 4 cylinder engine coupled to a 6 speed manual transmission make this is one Very fun car to drive.
Mechanically:
The car is very sound, runs great with no problems or areas of concern. The engine starts right up and runs smooth, No smoke or noises. There are 113057 miles on the vehicle, the engine has an estimated 85,000 miles as it was replaced under warranty in 2007 by Nissan. No major leaks, typical fluid seepage/residue for a 2004 vehicle. Engine oil was recently changed. Vehicle has a cold air intake installed by previous owner.
The transmission shifts as it should, no noises or anything out of the ordinary. It is a close ratio 6 speed manual WITH the optional factory installed helical limited slip differential which makes a big improvement on how the car handles and puts the power to the ground. Also makes a world of difference in low traction situations such as bad weather or snow. The transmission fluid was recently changed. The clutch feels good , engages well, no noises and shows no signs of slipping or imminent failure.
Suspension is firm and tight with no signs of issues. Steering is responsive and front end was recently checked and shows no signs of concerns as well.
Interior:
The carbon fiber styled interior is in good shape. There are no tears,rips or signs of excessivewear. The power windows, power door locks, power sunroof, keyless entry, windshield wipers, turn signals, horn, fuel door release and trunk release are all working as they should. There is an aftermarket radio installed, it works great and has many features some of which are a motorized disappearing touch screen, dvd/cd player, auxiliary input and auxiliary wiring. No signs of a previous smoker.
Exterior:
The exterior is in very good shape with only a handful of minor chips, scratches. There is some evidence of previous paint work but as you can see it was done well as it looks very sharp. The rear bumper has a couple tiny mrks that have been touched up. The front bumper has some minor flaked that has been touched up and a few small cracks in the air dam that are not visible at eye level. The glass is in good shape with no cracks or major damage. Lighting lenses are in good shape as well.
Overall this a great car with many years of fun and reliable service infront of it.
