UPDATE: I have uploaded a video of the truck running/idling and it is for you to view on Youtube at the following link- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2cojoLwq9g I am relisting this truck again to a buyer not getting his payment sent in due time. If you plan on buying this truck, please follow through per eBay requirements. This listing in only a 'buy it now' so there will need to be an immediate deposit made up front. I can't spend hours and hours on the phone answering questions for people who are not going to bid or send payment. Thank you for your understanding. Up for your consideration is a 1965 GMC 1/2 ton truck. This truck has the original 305 V6, longbed stepside, 4-speed manual trans (on the floor) and much more. The motor runs really well and looks to be original down to the exhaust manifolds and 2-barrel carb. It has been a California truck since it was made and it spent much of its life in the foothills near Sac and also down here in the Central Valley. This is a clean title in hand, currently registered in California as a non-operational car (papers to show on the non-op as well) and I have two one-day moving permits for the future owner. Also, please note that the pink slip has not been altered or whited-out with white out. I used Microsoft Paint to edit some of the details on the pink to keep some information private. There are a few things to note on this truck. The driver's side floor pan has rust along the rockers extending to the front cab corner (see picture). The passenger floorboard looks similar but hasn't rusted all of the way through like the driver's side. Other than that, rust doesn't appear to be a major issue on this truck. Doors and hood open and close nicely. The passenger door has two larger dents in the middle of the door beneath the seam. I will include pictures of the dents soon. There are other smaller dents here and there on the truck (behind the front driver's side wheel on the fender, on the top of the driver's rear fender for example). Headlights, turn signal lights and high beams work. Radio and heater work. New fuel pump, plugs/wires, battery, rubber brake lines and some other odds/ends. Original black plate truck with both plates. The front bumper is going to need to be replaced or repaired as it is flimsy and bent outside of each frame rail. I am including a chrome bumper from my 65 c10 shortbed with the sale. The chrome bumper is straighter and tear-free compared to the one on the car but it also is a little dinged up. The tires hold air and can be driven on but they are old-school bias-ply tires. This truck starts right up with a couple of primes of the gas pedal, the choke partially opened and a turn of the key. Seems to run a touch rich but idles and drives very smooth. Both of the motor mounts are cracked and should be replaced. At a cold idle, there is a rattle that sounds like it is coming from the exhaust. I'm guessing the exhaust might need a new hanger or maybe its the busted mounts causing a vibration. After about a minute the rattle is gone and does not come back. There is a small hose going from the top of the water pump to the intake manifold that has cracks but has not yet failed by leaking or letting out pressure. I am mentioning all of these smaller issues in the spirit of full disclosure. If I notice anything else I will be sure to mention it. For the prospective buyer, I have a number of extra parts for this truck that I have left over from a '65 GMC parts truck that I dismantled. I have doors, hood, bumper, grill, steering wheel with column and more. Inquire through eBay for the extra parts. $250 Paypal deposit (no e-checks through Paypal, sorry) is required immediately if you choose the 'buy it now' option with the remainder either paid in person or through wire transfer. If you win the auction at the end of the listing, a $250 paypal deposit is due within 24 hours and the remainder either paid in person or through wire transfer. The full payment is due within 3 days of the listing ending and if needed, I can store the truck outside until it is picked up. I can store inside for an extra fee if requested. If you have any questions feel free to contact me through email. I will give you my cell number through the eBay messages as I have received an inordinate amount of scammers texting me after posting my number. I can show the truck whenever and it is located on the edge of Stockton near Lodi. This truck is nearly 50 years old and there will be some things that will need replacing (mentioned what I have noticed to this point) and there is no warranty expressed or implied. I would suggest looking at this truck in person if possible to see if its for you. Thanks for looking and have a great week-
