Up for auction is a 1978 chevrolet El Camino on a 1978 chevrolet 4 wheel drive frame. This truck was built by a local machinist a few year ago and he has been driven in the summer only. He bought the el camino and the pickup chassis from the southern states so they were rust free and still are, The frame rails still look brand-new and the body only has a little surface rust (no holes) the 350 engine runs great and the auto tranny shifts as it should. It has 35' mud tires on it which are decent but the front and rear are the same size but different tread. he has been driving it daily this summer and drove it here today to trade it for a larger truck. The windshield wipers do not work but there is another wiper motor in the vehicle to go with it. Also included is a 4' suspension lift which he was going to install so he could run 38' tires on it but never got the time to do. this includes front springs, blocks for the rear and shocks. with apaint job, this would be a nice looking rig !
