Vehicle Detail

This is a real 1968 Olds 442 with Hurst stick shift, (only 1200 built), center console and bucket seats. But before I tell you about the car, let a former client tell you about my work: "I purchased my restored 1972 BMW tii from Chris about six years ago. The car has been awesome. It drives like a new car. The detail work was extraordinary and it still looks brand new. Of course I only drive it on sunny days. When going down the freeway at a comfortable 70mph it turns lots of head and gets thumbs up from people I pass. Chris and his team exceeded my expectations. If I were to have another BMW restored, I would have Chris do the job for me. I highly recommend him to build the car of your dreams. It has been fun to go back in time each day I take my BMW out for a spin." LG, Oregon. (In the photos, his car is the Agave BMW with the doors and hood open) I've sold other cars on eBay, and when people re-sell my BMWs, some of them mention in their ads that it was one of my restorations. But besides BMWs I've also done other cars like a couple of 56 Chevy coupes, a Cobra replica and a Mustang convertible, This Olds 442 is going to be right in the same quality category. Since the 442 isn't finished yet, I've included some photos of other work I've done to show you the quality of the Olds when it's completed. The 442 has a completely rebuilt -0- mile motor, rebuilt transmission also with -0- miles, rebuilt carb, drive train done, the gas tank cleaned out and conditioned, all fuel lines cleaned, new battery installed, all motor compartment wiring done and the car runs great. It has the larger radiator. The motor was blown up and replaced in 1968, probably by a dealer since the first owner bought the car for competition. So if it's important to you, no the motor number is not matching. But for those who don't care and don't expect people to check under the hood to find out, don't pass this one by - this is a totally rust free, straight California car as you can see in the photos taken of the floor boards. I did not do the original body and paint and it was not up to my standards, so I re-did the body work including the whole underside, and the car is now ready for its final coats of paint and clear coat. It will then be sanded and buffed before re-assembly. Just so you know, this car was brought to me by a client from somewhere else, but the finances are not working out for him so I'm bringing it up to my standards, completing and selling it. I'm going to install a new windshield and all new interior including headliner, door panels, carpets, seat covers and dash. The bumpers are already re-chromed. I expect this final work will take approx 6 - 8 weeks to complete. It will all look factory new. Take a look at the samples of my work in the attached photos. This 442 is going to be of the same quality - I guarantee it! Please call me if you have any questions. I'm still at a point in this restoration that I can add custom touches for you such as special stereo or other items you want me to include. Thanks for checking out my ad - I hope we can do business together and you'll be my next happy customer. Chris (909)557-3688.
