Vehicle Detail
1963 Chevrolet Corvair You are looking at a true barn find here. Parked since some time in the 80's. Originally, this car came from Florida. For you Corvair enthusiasts, here is the VIN # 30967W273464. This is a four speed, turbo charged, numbers matching original. I've had the parts checked, and they are number correct. As it has been sitting for a number of years, the turbo charger was removed so it wouldn't be damaged. The engine has been started with the carburetors and it seemed to run fine. The original carb is with the turbo charger shown in the pictures...100% complete. This car will need restoration. As you can see, .there is rust in the floor pan. There is a dent in the right front fender...easy fix. I don't know much else about Corvairs, but am aware that this is the highly collectible version. There are extra parts that will be included with the sale. Terms of Sale A non-refundable deposit of $1000 required within 48 hours after the close of the auction through Paypal, wire transfer, money order, cashiers check or cash. The remaining balance to be paid no later than 7 business days after auction ends through wire transfer, money order, cashiers check, or cash. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. I will store vehicle for up to 30 days for free. If car is not picked up in 30 days, I reserve the right to re-list and/or resell the vehicle. On Dec-03-12 at 16:18:34 PST, seller added the following information: It was brought to my attention that this car is not a Spyder. It is a Monza equipped with a Spyder engine. The numbers verify it is a Spyder engine, however. Thank you and sorry for the mix up.
