Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a nicely restored 1954 Chevy Bel Air Deluxe 4 Door Sedan. I bought this car privately in 2007 and have replaced or restored everything under the hood. I also had the car repainted from its original dark blue-green so I know the body is original and so is the engine. The car came with a beautiful interior vinyl restoration which is in great shape. I also had the original front and rear bumpers re-chromed and they're like brand new. But there is a small ding on the right front bumper but you couldn't tell unless I pointed it out to you. From a distance, the paint job looks great but on closer inspection there are a few chips and dings that goes along with wear. The car has always been a Texas car and I really only drive it on Sundays. I believe I'm the 3rd owner. This car likes to be driven. It doesn't like to be forgotten about weeks at a time. It will let you know it's unhappy but if you're planning to drive it daily or even every other day it will reward you with happy reliable motoring. The 3 on the tree is fun to drive and shifts smoothly. The clutch is reliable and smooth and only has about 1000 miles on it. I've even gotten the car up to 90 mph but I don't recommend it. It's very happy at 65-70. The tires have medium wear. There are no problems with the brakes, suspension, exhaust, and transmission. The gauges and turn signal work but the fuel gauge doesn't. The radio is the original but also doesn't work. New battery also not shown in pics. The engine runs cool and has never over heated. This car would love to be a daily driver but I just don't have the time. I am not a mechanic and had all the restoration done by a local mechanic but I'm very satisfied. I can answer basic questions about the car. I'm not sure if I can answer any highly technical questions. This car is priced to sell with the reserve a fraction of all the money I have put into it making my loss your gain. But I just have too many cars and need to start selling some of them. Pick up and transportation is buyer's responsibility but I might be able to help find someone locally to deliver the car. I have been as honest about my car as I possibly can so ALL SALES FINAL. NO REFUNDS, BUY BACKS OR BUYER'S REMORSE. SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY.
