Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my 1969 Ford Mustang Coupe. It's in reasonably good condition for a 40-yr old car. I keep it garaged every winter with a battery tender and start it weekly. I'm selling it as I'm looking to make room in my garage for my gf's car. It runs, drives, and stops pretty well and would make for a nice project. Features:- 90k Miles on motor (odometer shows 86k, which is probably not accurate)- 1978 351W engine with mild cam- C4 Automatic Transmission (rebuilt with less than 700mi)- Grabber Blue with black stripe exterior- Black interior- New five spoke 15” alloy wheels and BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires ( < 500mi)- Replace spark plugs / wires / coil / MSD Ignition ( <500mi)- Recently changed over to power front disc brakes (came with manual drums) ( <300mi)- Recently changed over to more modern Borgeson steering pump/box ( <300mi)- Replaced front shocks / tie rods / springs / ball joints / sway bar ( <300mi)- Recent alignment ( <300mi)- New Hedman headers ( <300mi) There are a few flaws with the car, as can be expected. Rust is starting to creep in on the corners of the doors, the driver fender, and the rear wheel wells. The steering wheel is an old Grant that isn't winning any beauty contests (and also has no horn). The steering wheel is also not centered due to the steering conversion. This should be easy to fix, just haven't gotten around to it. The dash pad is newer however it's an A/C pad in a non-A/C car, leaving an opening where the center vent should be. The car runs well, but the electric choke doesn't work great and takes a couple pumps to start. Also the fuel sender is inaccurate (only shows between ½ and ¾ tank full) For more photos and higher resolution, please click here. A deposit of US $500 is required within 48 hours of auction close.
