1967 Pontiac Coupe for sale! This is a fully restored, matching numbers car with a completely rebuilt motor and transmission. I have owned this car for about 8 years and unfortunately have to sell it. I have put significant time and money into the car and it will definitely make any GTO fan a very happy owner. Unfortunately, I have to sell the car for financial reasons and hope that I can find it a good owner. The drivetrain is like new - both the engine and transmission have been professionally rebuilt from top to bottom. The engine only has about 250 miles on it and still needs to complete its breakin. This car will make someone money - it has been appreciating in value every year since I bought it. Ask any GTO or muscle car buff about what car values are doing today and you will see that this is a great car and great investment! Engine & Transmission The drivetrain of this GTO are in absolute perfect condition as they are both essentially rebuilt less than 300 miles ago. PHS docs which verify the original engine and transmission are avaialble for review with the vehicle, and/or you can pay $35 to have this verified yourself by visiting here: http://www.phs-online.com/services.htm Engine: The engine of this car is the original Pontiac 400 V8, with PHS documentation to prove the matching numbers. I personally removed the engine from the car and had it professionally rebuild from top to bottom by a top engine builder, Carl McQuillin. The block was dipped and painted, with all new parts. It was balanced, bluepritned and primed before installing in the car. Transmission: The transmission was also completely rebuilt at the same time as the engine. The work was done by Milt & Ron's transmission in Rochester, NY and has a heavy duty torque converter installed. This transmission is one of the best ever made and with the rebuild (that was not needed I will note) will serve this car for the next 40 years. Important Note: The engine & transmission were installed about 4 years ago. I broke the engine in at about 2000 RPM for about an hour per the engine builders specifications with racing oil, then drove the car for about a half hour and changed the oil again. Since then, the car has been only driven a few times a season and the engine still requires about 200 miles of further breakin procedure at various speeds and no full throttle accelleration. Body & Paint Condition Body: This GTO was restored before I purchased it, and the body of this GTO is still in good shape. It has never been wrecked and I cannot find any glass at all on the car. The doors align well, and are very straight. Paint: The paint on this car is about 10 years old, and is in overall very good shape. There are a few small places where is some minor bubbling, though it can't be seen unless very close inspection. I will show those places in the photos section, but overall the paint is very good. I tried to point all the problem spots in the photos, so there should be no surprises. Needs: The exhaust system is starting to rust on the car, and will eventually need to be replaced. There is some rust on the frame under the rear passenger side.
