On March 26, 1968, Francis Villenueve walked into the famous Felix Chevrolet looking to buy a new Camaro. Francis found the perfect one. It was a new 1968 Camaro Rally Sport finished in Ash Gold with matching interior. It had the optional 327/275 horsepower engine with a powerglide transmission and power steering. Francis drove the car daily around Los Angeles for years before moving to Lake Havasu, Arizona several years ago. The car was recently purchased from Francis' children and is now offered for sale. The Rally Sport is pretty much the same as it was in 1968. Hardly anything has been changed or modified from its original state. It still wears its original California black plates and Felix Chevrolet license plate frames. It now has 102,000 miles on the clock but still runs like a top. The car is absolutely rust free with no rust repair ever. The trunk and floors are like new and is a testament to the beautiful California weather. The drivers side quarter panel has been repainted at some point and I'm not sure why. I can see no evidence of a repair and it has had no rust ever. It has its original drive train including the numbers matching engine, transmission and rear end. The original spare wheel is present as well as the original Jack and wrench.
