Vehicle Detail
1972 Chevy K-5 Blazer I’m relisting this Blazer, as I saw a lot of interest during the previous auction. I’ve lowered the starting and reserve price as I would like to successfully auction this Blazer. Please note, if you have any question don’t hesitate to ask!! I recently purchased this Blazer and have completed a number of repairs. I intended to use this Blazer for family trail outings so I wanted to ensure the vehicle was in excellent operating condition. However, as often happens, things have changed and I am planning to sell this vehicle in order to go in a different direction. There are a number new or reconditioned parts on the Blazer I will be describing to you. As you can see from the pictures, this truck is excellent condition, although it’s not the very highest quality paint and body work, it is in great shape overall. As can be seen in the pictures, there are some dings in the body and the paint is not perfect. A lot of work has been done to the metal to get it to its current condition. This is a 1972 K-5 Blazer with an excellent running 350 engine and it is an automatic transmission. Exact mileage is unknown. The paint is a metallic Charcoal with a dark cloth interior. It has power steering and brakes and it has an updated AM/FM/CD player All glass is in excellent condition. The tires are BF Goodrich Radial TAs and they are 35X12.50X15s in good condition. Two of the tires are like new and the remaining two are average, or above average. (Front end problems affected the wear of the front tires and those issue have been resolved!) There is an option on the wheels, as the tires are currently mounted on Unique modular wheels, in 15 X 8 I believe. I do have a set of 15 X 8 Rally Wheels I could put on the Blazer, if a buyer preferred those wheels. Only one set of wheels will be included in the sale of the vehicle and changing to the Rally Wheels would be at the buyer’s expense! Since buying the vehicle: Replaced front upper shackle hangers with new hangers and greasable bushing assemblies Replaced front eye with a main eye kit for Superlift/Skyjacker Replaced rear spring and shackles with greasable assemblies Replaced all bushings at the same time Replaced center link and tie rod assemblies Replaced ball joints Replaced power steering pump (with reservoir) Replaced steering gear box Edelbrock carburetor has been rebuilt/re-jetted Added a new OEM-style battery tray The vehicle is sold “as is”, “where is” and it’s for sale locally, so I do reserve the right to terminate the eBay listing early should the vehicle sell locally prior to reaching the reserve price. Any shipping or other transportation requirements are the responsibility of the buyer. I will do whatever I can to assist with shipping as far as getting the truck to a local pickup point. As always, I’ve nothing to hide and I’ve managed to keep my eBay transactions positive for both buyers and myself. So, if you have any questions, please e-mail me or call me at 719.749.2nine2four. Thanks for looking.
