Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 I purchased this 1971 TS125 Duster about 10 years ago from my friend’s father, who had owned the bike for about 30 years and purchased it from the original owner. The bike has been stored in a garage for at least the past 30 years. I have ridden the bike maybe 100 miles in the past 10 years, and my understanding is that the previous owner would start it up every couple of years and drive it around the block to make sure it was still running for the last 20-25 years that he owned it. I hadn’t started the bike the last two years, and it started up today on the third kick and ran strong doing a few laps around my yard. The bike has 6348 miles and I have a clear title. For the most part the bike is completely original. I am not sure if the turn signals originally came with the bike, but they are of the same vintage. The rear tire was replaced with a lager one, but it is also of the same vintage, and I have the original rear tire. All of the tires are in great shape and I do not see any sign of cracking or dry-rot and they have plenty of tread left on them. I tried to do my best with taking photos that accurately show the condition of the bike. Please note that the paint is actually a little more faded than what is portrayed in the photos. I honestly believe that a good polishing with rubbing compound and a solid coat of wax is all it will take to make it really shine. There is some minor surface rust on some the chrome, but it seems to come right off with some steel wool and there are a few scratches in the fenders. The previous owner did say that he tipped it over once and that is how the knob on the end of the brake lever broke off, and bent the handle bars slightly. Somewhere, somehow one of the mirror broke off, but the last I looked NOS replacements were all over e-bay. The headlight is burnt out, and the battery is dead. There may be an electrical issue because the brightness of the taillight and signal lights change with the RPM of the engine, but this just may be because the battery and the headlight are not working. I have a few extra parts that are pictured and all of the manuals you should need. Please ask questions. Buyer is responsible for coordinating shipping and all related shipping costs.
