Rust free Texas car in great condition inside and out. I have enjoyed this fine car for 6 1/2 years. During a recent check of valve adjustment I found a cyl head nut in the right valve cover indicating that one of the Delavar lower head bolts had fractured. This is a well known weakness of this otherwise bulletproof engine and ultimately all lower row head studs should be replaced with iron bolts to match the ones already installed in the top rows.. This engine still runs great with no signs that the affected cylinder has lost it's seal, If driven moderately it could last a long time without harming the engine and when the seal is finally lost it will clearly announce itself by a distinct change in the exhaust sound. Installing new lower head bolts is not a big deal and instructions with videos are available online. At age 73 I will leave that to a younger enthusiast. But for one broken bolt this car would bring something in the low $20's.
