Vehicle Detail

For sale is a 2004 Acura RSX with taffeta white exterior and gray interior. This car has the 2005-2006 RSX A-Spec body kit and is an automatic (Tiptronic where you can shift in manual mode if desired). Also included is a Sony Xplod CD Player with a 15" Infinity Subwoofer and Diamond Audio Amplifier. The car also has tinted windows including partial tint on the front windshield, rear spoiler, flip up sunroof, cruise control, heat and A/C work great, etc. It also has 17" wheels and near brand new $750 all season Continental Extreme Contact tires. They were purchased this year from Discount Tire and were purchased because they are rated at 60,000 miles which was the highest they had. I purchased this car with around 30,000 miles and have driven it mostly highway miles since. I drive 85 miles each way to and from work (170 miles total) so it is easy to see how in the few years I have owned it I accumulated those miles. We have a garage and I have kept it in throughout most winters. This vehicle is paid off and I have the title in hand ready for the buyer. This car has gotten me around 31mpg on the highway. It has a Vtech engine as can be seen in the pictures. I just had the breaks changed and replaced the O2 sensor that was bad. All in all, the car is in great running and safe condition. I have used this as my commuter car for many many years and have even driven it long distances for vacations but I want to be as honest as possible as a car that's been driven this long has some wear, so here are the things that are not perfect with the car: I pulled into a parking spot and brushed the parking block which did put a small crack underneath the front bumper. It is barely noticeable unless you bend over or step back to see it. It is approximately 3 inches or so long. There is a small piece of the tint missing on the back right passenger window which could be fixed I'm sure for less than $20. The check engine light was on so I got it serviced as the mechanic told me an O2 sensor was out, but the engine light did not go back off. This light has been on for the majority of the time I have owned it. There is a piece broken off of the rear tail light INSIDE the car when you pen the trunk. That is the only way this is visible. Does not affect anything AND I have a replacement, just never got around to putting it in. I also have the original Acura CD player. Since around 55k miles, the car started revving a little higher than usual OR sometimes slightly jerking only at start-up when going into second gear. I was told by a mechanic around that time that he would doubt it was a transmission problem since it only had around 55k miles on it at the time, maybe a piston sticking or something. It never bothered me enough to have it fixed so I just saved the money and kept driving. It absolutely does not do it in any other gears or at any other times, only coming from a dead stop. The leather seats are a little worn, but no tears or anything or than usual wear for seats that have been sat in for over 100k miles. There are no other major blemishes or damages to the interior, it is in great shape. The exterior has a few VERY minor dents, there is only 1 that I can really even notice at first glance which is by the passenger door handle, low on the door. The plastic piece that covers the wheel well has come off underneath the front right of the car, I had it replaced once the first time I rolled up on a parking block for less than $100, but didn't have it replaced the second time. This car is low to the ground, so be careful when pulling into a parking space ;) You can also see on the back right side of the car a very tiny piece of the body kit extends out just a tiny bit, a body man told me he could just push it back in, but again, never bothered me enough to do it. There are a few paint chips etc. but again, nothing abnormal. The front bumper that has the minor crack also has had quite a bit of tiny paint chips due to rocks and things of that nature coming up off of the road. They have been filled in to prevent further chipping or rusting. The amp and sub in this car are excellent. LOTS of low, heavy bass and is great quality as the brands are good brands (Infinity and Diamond Audio) and sounds like an expensive set, as it was not cheap. I thought about putting it in my new Optima, but figured it'd be easier to just keep it in this car. One or 2 of the front speakers can crackle a little bit if turned up really loudly, but I just faded it to the back a little and I listen to music VERY loudly and don't get any noises when it's turned up and faded. Oil changes every 3-4,000 miles. Because there is no warranty, this car is being sold as is and I have tried to describe everything as accurately as possible. The blue book on this car even in fair condition is much higher than the starting bid. Please let me know if you have any questions. We just bought a new car and really need the money to cover the payments is the only reason I am selling this car. I hope the next person enjoys it as much as I have :) Good luck!
