2003 CHEV. 2500 EXT. CAB PICKUP, 4X4, AUTO, SHORT BED, GAS, TWO KEYS, 199,700 MILES This is an EXT. CAB not a four door. This truck was recently purchased at auction. It starts right up, engine sounds good, but the engine light is on. I have it at a shop now and will update when I know what's up. Problems I've found: There is a cut square hole in the muffler (I think deliberately so to make it loud). Windows are manual and the driver’s side crank for window is a little loose. The driver’s side back cab door must be opened from the inside while pulling the side lever. On the back right tire a bolt is missing as well as the cover. Tires have about another year on them. The front windshield has a crack in it. Back left area has a dent above tire rim and there is a dent top front left hood. Truck has a tow package on back. It is white with a red pin stripe, the 4x4 decals are somewhat scratched and it says commercial on back of truck. (See photos) I should be getting the title near the end of November. Engine: 6.0L V8 SFI If you win this auction pick up for the truck would need to be near the end of November, just to ensure the title has come to me, or I will notify buyer if it arrives earlier. It starts right up, engine sounds good. When I washed the bottom of the truck before bringing it to the service station the engine light came on. Not sure if it was on before that. The computer code for the engine light is PO 332 Knock Sensor 2 circuit short/low. I was told that it sometimes will rust causing that light to go on. It is an expensive fix due to where the sensor is located because it is under the intake manifold. The sensor may have come on because of moisture or rust. My total service to the truck on 11/08/2012 was $471.17 at Conoco. Oil filter lube $36.99, Air Filter $19.95, Transfer Case filling $7.99, 2xRear brake pads $63.77, 2xWheel seals $59.58, 2xTurn Rotor $50.00, Labor $130.00, Check code $35.00, Repair patch exhaust $50.00. I got a nut and plastic cap for the tire.
