Vehicle Detail

1968 SS Camaro, has front RS lights (not functional). I hardly drive this car and it has been well taken care of. Nice solid fast Camaro. Owned by a mechanic. Never ran at the track, it has always been my cruiser. Not sure about the mileage but the odometer has most likely rolled over. It shows 65,000 but it is most likely 165,000. Has the RS taillights but not the correct backup lights. Paint and body was done about 13 years ago, straight and solid car. This car was a frame off restoration 13 years ago. Metal was replaced in floors, trunk, and quarters. Body/paint has a couple of bubbles and chips in the paint but nothing major or out of the ordinary for the paint being 13 years old. No fading and cleans up very nice. Has always been garage kept in the last 10 years I have owned it. New bumpers, taillight moldings, parking lights, side marker lights, wheel moldings, and wind damn. New driver side door hinges. New back glass. 15" rally rims and newer tires. 3" fiberglass hood. All new emblems even though I don't have all of them on the car but I do have all the stock ones. Drivetrain: Not matching numbers. I believe the car was a small block car with a powerglide previously. It is V8 car according to the VIN. It now has a 396 bored .30 over. Steel crank and pistons. 1968 427 Corvette heads (square port). Roller cam and gold series roller rockers. Edelbrock Air Gap intake and 800 CFM Holley double pumper with Proform main body. MSD 6 AL box, MSD Billet distributor. Cast aluminum valve covers. Bought the motor from Matt Johnson's Speed Shop and it has about 5,000 miles on it. Motor was 5,000 alone about 5 years ago. Hooker Headers and 3 inch dual exhaust all the way out the back. Bullet mufflers. The car is pretty loud. Mini torque starter. Rated at about 430HP and this car screams. This car will break the tires loose at 40. 400 turbo with 2800 TCI stall converter and shift kit. Transmission has about 7,000 miles on it. Has Ford 9" rear that was rebuilt about 8 years ago. Brand new power brakes all the way around. Just added cross drilled and slotted discs up front and new ball joints. New brake lines and new master cylinder. Brand new rear leaf springs. No heater box (firewall) and no windshield wiper motor, won't fit with the tall valve covers due to the large cam. Interior: Interior is in great shape. The only issue is the guy who had the car before me re-upholstered the front seats with standard covers instead of deluxe light it originally has. The seat colors match just two different styles but hard to tell unless you are a expert on Camaros. New headliner, steering wheel, door panels, rear tray mat, sail panels, and carpet. Bucket and console car. Console was refinished. Replaced several interior parts. Does have dash cut for CD player, previous owner had already cut the dash for the radio so I went ahead and cut it for a CD player. New rear wiring harness. Added a temp gauge, oil pressure, and volt meter. This car is what I say it is. Nothing to hide about this car, if you have more questions feel free to ask. Absolutely NO TRADES. Can assist with finding a car shipper for US or AUS.
