Vehicle Detail
1973 Plymouth Roadrunner, matching numbers 340, 727 torque flight transmission, 8 3/4 rear end. This is a very solid Roadrunner that has been well taken care of with no rust and has been garage kept to keep it safe from the elements. Im not going to sit here and bore you with a story about the car so i just get right to business, INTERIOR, The carpet and the interior has been redone to its original condition and year. headliner is also new with no sagging. i've installed a hidden radio under the dash, the original radio does not work but i left it in its place. its a shame when you see someone butcher the dash to put in a modern radio. BODY. Sherwood amber paint with stripe delete, new vinyl top, the car was repainted about 4 years ago and still looks fantastic, especially in the sun..you can really see it sparkle. Now its not a show quality paint job and there are a few imperfections but its still nice none the less. Also has a few rock chips here and there but nothing major. There is a crack on top on the valance above the grill. i will include a picture so you can see, ENGINE. Runs real strong and clean especially for its age, its pretty much stock except for the new holly 4160c polished carb and mopar performance valve covers and air pan cleaner. i will include the original valve covers and 340 air pan with the car when sold. SUSPENSION. Front shocks have been replaced, i also installed new front body mount bushings. the rear is sitting on new leaf springs with an extra leaf added for clearance and coilover shocks to improve handling and balance. no shackles or air shocks on this car. also the steering box has been replace with a new one. ive kept the original in case someone wanted to restore it. WHEELS BFG's upfront with new fire stone fire hawks up back. rims are vintage slot mags that have been polished up nicely. they are very rare rims to find in such great condition..these alone in the condition that they are in will run you over 1k EXHAUST. Exhaust is solid with no exhaust leaks and sounds great. FUEL. New gas tank with hoses from year one inc. a few things to add is that the fender tag went missing after it was painted years back and i haven't been able to locate it. to ensure you that you are bidding on a true roadrunner i will include pictures of the radiator support bracket and door so you can see the vin for yourself. if you have any questions or need more pictures feel free and ask. Steve On Nov-02-12 at 16:46:50 PDT, seller added the following information: The reserve on this auction is set low and it's not going to hurt your wallet. So many classic Mopars out there are extremely expensive or have been completely restored that you can't enjoy the car for all it's worth. Buy a car you can actually enjoy! happy bidding! :)
