1972 DODGE POLARA CUSTOM ORIGINAL 18,000 MILES 360 2BBL Like driving a time machine. New tires, distributor, rebuilt carb, front brakes. ignition control box, belts, hoses, radiator, idler arm. Has been put through regular maintenance twice a year. Last done in July. Interior is mint. No rips, stains or tears anywhere. Headliner is perfect. It even has the original exhaust system in it and it's in beautiful shape. What's it need? Vinyl top needs replacing, a new one comes with the car.. Trunk floor needs repainting due to back window leak (Typical) Leak is fixed. Has a couple of small rust spots popping up around the outer separation molding. Minor. No rust through that I know of. Rear bumper done by Bumper Boys. . .Need I say more aout that, Maybe valve cover gaskets. Has a couple of minor scratches and one garage door ripple under the RR molding. AC needs a recharge and then used to get the front seal swelled up. Will hold a charge for a whole season with sporatic use. That's everything. It sounds worse than it is. I am just asking what I have into the car from 5 years ago and repairs. It's currently in storage and these pictures are old. Except for white walls and a buff job, it looks the same as it did 5 years ago when I got it. I have put less than 3000 miles on it. Was used in some parades, and a couple of funerals. Took best original in a couple of shows. Affectionately known in the C Body world as the "Virgin" Would make a great cop car clone with very little work. As soon as the hurricane damage is cleaned up, I will take the car out of it's storage cocoon and take more pictures. Ask your questions before buying. I want you to be satisfied before you buy. I have described everything good and bad Drive it home! Car is sold as is where is. I cannot describe the car any better. I will be glad to send pictures to anyone of the areas that need repair if requested. I estimate with the top installed, there is maybe 500 dollars of work. But I do all this work myself.
