1972 Karmann Ghia hardtop, unrestored.I know little about this car, I am listing this for a friend who's husband recently passed away. I have seen it, and spoke with the owner about it somewhat this past summer. The engine is free, it did run last summer and has been set up for storage. The car does roll free. It was originally from Ohio, now stored a few miles south of Boston. I live in Vermont. With too many replacement parts to list, please send me an email address or call the number below and I will forward the list. I can only guess that the list equals the parts stored in the car, but I have not checked each box to be certain. Things that have been easily found are including but not limited to;- all glass, trim, manifold, exhaust, floor pans, fender inserts, dash face, clips, heater panel, pedal assembly and more. I believe everything is there but again I have not sorted all the individual parts- I live 3 hours away so there will be no help assessing and helping to look for this and that. The floor pans have some rust, I saw no rot. The body appears straight, with some surface oxidation on one fender. I saw no dents. The interior looks good and intact- there is stuff stuffed inside so there was only a portion I could see. It appears to be a good platform to begin a restoration. milage of 999,000 is an estimate. I have worked on my share of vintage motorcycles, if that helps you access my description. There is no 'Buy it Now' price and I feel the reserve is more than fair given the extra's, but in the end it is all a gamble, no?
